Why Is mentoring and coaching so important in the entertainment industry now?

Every organization and individual defines talent management differently, yet most artists we observe and interview and have
had the pleasure to work does not implement this concept particularly well. That is not surprising since most aspiring artists
and entertainmenters choose the "fly by the seat of the pants" approach. No matter how much debate there is about the
term "talent management and development," no matter how many systems are set up and no matter how long industry
executives, project managers and investors deliberate on who's a high potential and who's not, this inescapable fact remains:

The most important part of talent management is in the hands of the striving artist themselves

Unfortunately, locating the help, wisdom and professional experience can be difficult and expensive. One of the keys to
success in the entertainment industry is building a rich network of talented and experienced individuals to aide them in their
journey.   Second is to actively seek new knowledge and education to the changes in the industry and learn from the
successful mentors that have taken the journey ahead of them. Talent needs coaching and mentoring.   Every successful
athlete, entrepreneur and professional has something in common, they at sometime relied upon the wisdom, experience and
dedication of a coach or mentor to provide them with the tools that otherwise they would have to learn them self.    This
especially goes for everyone in the entertainment industry. This includes engineers, producers, songwriters, musicians,
managers, promoters, performers and countless other people that drives this industry. Our goal is to create this unique
empowering learning environment through the Star Mentors seminar tours.

We have created an exciting and rewarding seminar series that will bring many top award winning and acclaimed
entertainment industry professionals directly to the emerging artists. By meeting face to face and actively participating in this
process this experience will help the attendees gain the best knowledge to help take the next steps in their careers. Our
surveys have identified a key fact, many emerging artists in cities all over the world do not have access to the seasoned
talent and professional resources they need to make a measurable difference in their journey. This seminar experience will
help bridge that gap. We are hopeful that the relationships we will build through this effort will be lasting and help produce
the next future successful stars and creative professionals.

It's that link to success that is often overlooked. Savvy artists and creative individuals have figured out that the alignment
and development of their own knowledge through coaching is essential to their personal success, perhaps even their
survival, especially in today changing entertainment industry.

Finding the right environment for learning for most appears to be difficult to do well — or do consistently. Although the
large majority of successful professionals and managers like to coach, most people we have interviewed say they would like
to receive more coaching and have opportunity for mentoring but don't know where to look.. Lack of confidence is an
obstacle in this process. Many artists get stuck in the rut of thinking that they would prefer to be left alone and learn and
create on their own. The reality is that there are clearly defined techniques, approaches and principles that apply toward
successes in any skill .Unfortunately, by not learning these basic principles most artists tend to delay the process of gaining
the right momentum to become successful in this extremely difficult business. One question we all agreed on here at Star

the entertainment business choose to take the journey alone for some unknown and mysterious reasons. Yet our research
indicates that the most 'talent' individuals don't necessarily want to be 'managed' or moved like chess pieces without regard
to their career aspirations or personal needs. But if the concept of open minded learning, professional networking and
having the actual opportunity to meet respected "celebrity's and professional" in their field it can inspire and redirect creative

Mentorship refers to a personal developmental relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person
helps a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. The receiver of mentorship was traditionally referred to as a
protégé, or apprentice but with the institutionalization of mentoring the more neutral word "mentee" was invented and is
widely used today. Strangely enough our Star Mentor staff also become the "Mentees" as well because we too learn from
our experiences at the seminar and interaction with the attendees. Foremost, mentoring involves communication and is
relationship based. In the organizational setting, mentoring can take many forms. One definition of the many that has been
proposed, is "Mentoring is a process for the informal transmission of knowledge, social capital, and the psychosocial
support perceived by the recipient as relevant to work, career, or professional development;mentoring entails informal
communication, usually face-to-face and between a person who is perceived to have greater relevant knowledge, wisdom,
or experience. We are confident that Star Mentors has taken the right steps to bring these value to the attendees of our
extensive day long seminar experiences.

Our seminars are a full day event, stating at 9:00 AM and ending at 4:30 PM.   During the seminar there will be key note
topics, question and answer session, breakout sessions and structured classroom sessions. All of these sessions are taught
and featured by one of our leading experts in their field. The cost of the seminar is $120.00 per person. The seminars are
